Does anyone have a recipe for carmel topping for ice cream?

Dunno if you can get CAJETA (or "dulce de leche" for Argentinians) where you live, which is a mexican candy made of milk but which tastes like caramel. Just put it in the microwave with a bit of milk and wait till it gets liquid, then you can add Kalhua and pour it on the ice cream once it has cooled off a little (but not so much so as to harden/thicken again).
