Am i crazy or is it him?

i meet this guy, he invites me to a party, texts me like twice a day, takes me down to a beautiful feild, says things like "i had a good time today, sorry i couldn't stay longer, i lookfarward to seeing you tommorow" asks me about relationships , values, family background, keeps making new plans with me, and likes to take me by the hand. this all happened in the span of a week, but he wasn't making a move, and the anticipation was distracting so i bluntly asked if he was interested. he say's "oh, i wasn't going to jump into anything, did i lead you on? i mean not that i havn't considered it" in MY mind, there is no question that he lead me on, but i can't tell if he knew what he was doing, or if he just dumb(he's not very bright). meeting a girl, spending almost every day with her, aksing VERY personal questions taking her by the hand. would you think he was "interested"? i'm obviously DONE with this guy. but he acts like he doesn't know how i got the wrong imppresion.
