Is my HPV an aggressive strain?

In May of 2009 i had a pap smear, they said it was stightly out of the range of normal. They told me go back on 6 mos. to retest. So I did it again in Dec. and now it's Low - Grade Dysplasia, and all within 6 month. I heard it usually took 10 years to progress to cancer, but at the rate I seem to be going I'm kinda scared for the future. Mind you, however that due to a controlling ex-husband, I wasn't able to have pap smear for several years, so who knows how long I had been in "atypical" range. But should I be worried? Do I have a more aggresive strain? What are the long term implications of a more dangerous strain, even after having the abnormal cells removed?
