Blue Healer Boxer Mix what are these dogs like?

My boyfriend bought a blue healer boxer mix and we are both college students with full time jobs and our friends come over a lot..... so i was wondering since we both work 7-5 and would have cl 6:30- 9:30 almost everyday of the business week would this dog be ok being left alone in a house most of the time and will we have to worry about them being aggressive toward our friends?
